A friend's son was set the task of asking three testing questions to people, some kind of R.E. research project?!?

I think you can guess the sort of answers that were being fished for. Of course I hastend to not oblige… Perhaps you could reply with your own thoughts for the purposes of qualitative academic research.

Q1:

How do you think humans came into being?

Stork: “We are the product of the tiniest chance, infinitely small, and the chaotic inevitability of good choices … eventually.”

Q2:

How do you think the universe began?

Stork: “With an idea.”

Q3:

Why do you think the universe began?

Stork: “A good idea has a way of happening, becoming a reality. In this case it’s the IDEA of a BEGINNING. This is a strange idea coming from someplace outside this reality, outside or greater than TIME in order to give birth to TIME, a place that has always and will always be? A powerful idea because what BEGINS will come to END, so… we shall see.

I think the universe began because I began within it and am therefore bound to think that.”
